Life Coaching for Moms
When a woman becomes a mother, her life completely changes. Many of these changes are positive, as children enrich our lives, teach us how to love unconditionally, and are inspirational for finding enormous inner strength. With this tremendous love and opportunity for growth, also come transition. Having children can change every other aspect of our lives, such as relationships, physical space, time, self-confidence, identity, career, passions, appearance, self-care and sanity. Mothers are sometimes left feeling like they don’t know who they are or what they want out of life anymore. Some expecting and new moms are blinded by this shift and seek support right away. Many other moms press the pause button and devote years taking care of everyone else – only to wake up one morning feeling completely overwhelmed or unfulfilled with their lives.
Life coaching philosophy believes in the power of our innate wisdom. You will not receive advice, judgment or opinions in the coaching process. You will be given a safe space, some gentle nudging and lots of effective questioning to discover what you need. As a life coach, Heather will take you from where you are to where you want to go. She will inspire you to reflect on who you are in addition to being a mom, support you in designing motherhood your way, and help you to bring back your mojo! Coaching is a place to reconnect with you and learn to thrive as a woman and mom. You will create a special time just for you to reflect on what is working in your life and what is not, and also come up with a plan for how to improve your overall joy. By listening to what you say, what is not being said, and being fully present, Heather will give the support you need to move forward. You will gain clarity, shift unproductive perspectives, work through fear, create your intended changes and ultimately reach your goals to create a life you love. Coaching differs from therapy or counseling as each session is focused on the present and future, not the past. Life coaching is most effective with emotionally healthy, high-functioning people who are going through a life transition or who may be feeling unfulfilled, overwhelmed or stuck in one or more areas of their life.
