Have you noticed the sky recently? The clouds have been really spectacular, especially when a storms rolls in. I’ve begun to take photographs of the huge billowy clouds with my iPhone. When I scroll through the images, I’m struck by the fleeting beauty of each photo. The constantly changing sky reminds me of life in general and how change can come about so quickly, sometimes without warning.
Reflecting on that, I’ve begun to realize that accepting change and embracing it, has helped me in my work as an esthetician & make up artist,. After all, much of what we do, is transformative. Changing the shape of your brows, seeing a dull lackluster complexion take on a luminous glow after one fabulous facial! Giving a make up lesson and allowing someone to see themselves in a new light.. I’ve also, been working with our Holistic Skin Care team to create a new menu of facial services for The Still Point. What a wonderful change! Launching the Terra, Aqua, Sol and Luna facials has been a very cool and creative endeavor.
