I recently read an article on www.thevisualmd.com that Deepak Chopra wrote about stress. He talked about how the body responds to stress and how it affects the brain. He included tips on coping with stress, of which did not include massage. I enjoyed this article and the only thing I would add is to include massage in the list of tips, which can definitely help with reducing stress.
Massage relieves tension in the muscles to increase circulation and blood flow, which in turn affects your central nervous system. The next time you feel a little stressed or tightness in your muscles, try a relaxing massage to melt away your tension.
