Healing Is A Journey Not A Destination

If dieting to lose weight has been a struggle for you, then yoga should be considered as your next step. Yoga can have a favorable effect on body metabolism. Increasing metabolism with yoga exercises and poses will stimulate the thyroid gland and convert fat to muscle and energy, as opposed to just storing fat cells around your middle. Also, deep breathing exercises slowly burns fat cells and aids in calorie loss.

To fully experience the benefits of yoga, guidance from an instructor and being involved in a class setting is recommended.
